[justify]this cabin, while the design is rumored to be as equally rustic as the other cabins. each year campers hope and pray to be apart of this cabin. with it's odd bunk designs giving the optimum amount of space and no beds to bump into on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the shortest distance to the lake and the dining hall, and even in the optimum sun spot so that the campers don't wake up with the sun in their eyes and the perfect amount of light for an afternoon tan.[/justify]

[justify]not one of the most sought after cabins. only campers who have been a part of the duck cabin can appreciate the true worth of it. hidden away at the very edge of the cabin circle, tucked just in front of the forest to hide it from the sun, it never gets too hot, it's never too bright, and the cabin is rumored to have many secret panels and rooms. But you wouldn't think it by looking at it.[/justify]

[justify]the cricket cabin, the most overlooked cabin of the four. it's perfectly ordinary and it is often forgotten about. the campers have no complaints until you go too far in teasing them about their cabin. there are no bunks in the cabin, just individual beds. there aren't many campers in this cabin, so there's no reason to stack beds to optimize space. supposedly the cabin is haunted by the ghost of mr. g's dead son, peter.[/justify]

[justify]easily the weirdest cabin of the all. covered in colors and images, these campers have the plainest hut and would do just about anything to make it stand out. it's closest to the craft hut and they use that to their advantage. no one's sure how this cabin could ever be considered more plain than the cricket cabin, with all it's bright colors and whimsical style, right now it's the one that stands out the most.[/justify]

[justify]these two cabins are the male and female staff cabins. they make sure the camper cabins are safe by being up on the hill to where they can see everything that happens in the cabin circle. as a general rule, girls are not allowed in the guys cabin, and guys are not allowed in the girls cabin. but if mr. g doesn't see, how can he know?[/justify]

[justify]this is where the campers hang out before, after, and inbetween activities. it's just a place to sit out in the sun when you don't want to go back to your cabin. campers tend to draw, mark, and write all over it.[/justify]

[justify]the camp health hut, run by two nurses who don't like people messing around the health hut for no reason. be sure to sign in if you're there for a medical reason. if you are there and you need medical attention and there is no nurse available, just wait until someone who can help arrives. the nurses don't like people disorganizing their items.[/justify]

[justify]we don't have many, but there are some campers who are religious. there are sermons for every denomination and religion, and this is also home to where staff and counselor meetings take place once the campers are all in bed. it's nothing fancy, just ten rows of pews on each side, a little step up with a podium, and a changeable sign of religion on the back wall for all to see. it changes for whatever sermon is being given.[/justify]

[justify]welcome to the dishwashers lodge, home to the camp dishwashers. you only usually see like one or two around at the same time, unless they're needed in the kitchens. they sleep here at night, and rest here between meals if they don't have chores and it's not their turn for camp-store-duty. sometimes you can find them around the activity areas, having fun or helping out. dishwashers seem to be everywhere... the lodge, unlike the cabins, have working air conditioning, a refrigerator, even a shower that campers and counselors would kill for. it's all part of a bribery ploy to keep them happy while they do the grunt work of camp.[/justify]

[justify]welcome to washer world. washer world is a rarely visited, but highly needed part of camp sidney. at any summer camp, clothes are bound to get dirty and not all campers bring their entire closet to camp. many don't even care about wearing dirty clothes. but it's there, and there are washers and dryers and detergent available. it's not really run by anyone, just there in case anyone needs it.[/justify]

[justify]care to cool off from the hot summer sun, and you don't feel like swimming in a place that gets you dirtier than go karts on a muddy day? take a dip in the pool, play some games, flirt with some life guards, lay out on the pavement, or play fight with the guys over pool toys. it's just a generally fun place to be and who knows, if the life guards get bored enough they might start telling some juicy staff gossip.[/justify]

[justify]melody lake is a place where people aren't afraid to get down and dirty come to play. you can try to trek across the muddy banks, or you can dive right in with the lake's floating dock. don't try swimming under the dock though, rumor has it that there's a lake monster who lives beneath the dock, waiting for stupid campers to swim under the dock. but that's a story for around a campfire.[/justify]

[justify]the boat houses everything for the lake from boats to canoes, life jackets to paddles, inner tubes to water skis, there's even a dusty old jetski in there. don't go in at night though, stories from around the campfire say that theirs a madman living in there at night who will kill anyone who goes in. but that's just to keep campers from disturbing anything at night. right?[/justify]

[justify]you know how crazy the weather is at camp, we do have the occasional floods. When they get too severe, all campers, counselors, and female staff members go up to stay safe. the male staff members stay down to make sure everything is secure. access is strictly forbidden when there isn't a flood. but, who listens?[/justify]

[justify]the dining hall. where campers, counselors, and staff members alike gather three times a day to enjoy a delicious meal made by the renowned mrs. wilma. Everyone loves mrs. wilma's food, but not everyone likes cleaning up after. that's the dishwashers' jobs, the ones who couldn't become counselors. they're responsible for the entire dining hall, what else have they got to do with their time? it's not like they have to look after campers.[/justify]

[justify]the gymnasium, home to two sorts of activities. recreation, and extreme recreation. extreme recreation is mainly for boys and girls who have a little adventure streak. they play more games like warball and kickball and don't have to worry about taking it easy when throwing. its a fun activity but not the favorite. at the very end of camp, all the campers gather here until they're checked out and can leave the camp until the following summer. several night activities take place in the gym as well.[/justify]

[justify]do you need some extra food between meals? say you're hungry after swimming in the lake, and dinner isn't for another four hours! well, just walk over to the side of the gymnasium and you'll find a camp store. say you're running out of clothes and you don't want to go over to washerworld to do a load of laundry. purchase some shirts and shorts here, the camp store has a bit of everything. just tell the dishwashers (they do everything here, i swear) working the counter what you want and they'll go fetch it for you.[/justify]

[justify]feeling artistic? is your creative muse threatening to burst? or are you just to lazy to go to an activity that requires actual energy? well then crafts is for you, they'll do just about anything in here that you could ever desire. and if you come here just to fill up your gymp supply, that's cool too.[/justify]

[justify]the underground storm shelter is a very large cement covered shelter beneath the gym, it's mainly used for tornadoes and hurricanes, when the wind is really bad outside.[/justify]

[justify]the barn, home to several horses available for campers to come ride to their hearts content. if you're waiting to ride, the horses staff will entertain you with games or even bringing the spare horses over to brush. be careful when walking behind them though, because if you spook a horse you'll likely get kicked. and it hurts. a lot.[/justify]

[justify]the outdoor stage, a place where awards are given at the end of summer, introductions are made at the beginning of camp, and the movies during movie nights are shown here. please try to sit with your cabin, so that your counselors can keep track of you. movies are rated pg-13 and younger.[/justify]

[justify]the sports field, home to extreme recreation which is usually filled with boys. Though girls who feel like having a dance party or play weird games is too pathetic for them come out here to get down and dirty like the guys. there are no silly games here, just sports. From kickball to soccer to football to flag football.[/justify]

[justify]this is the temporary storm shelter for the campers and counselors who are two far away to get to a safe indoor spot. they are to remain there until a staff member gets there with the camp bus to take them back to camp. please don't try to go back on your own, it's easier and safer this way.[/justify]

[justify]the high ropes course, available for ages sixteen and up. it takes you up into the air, safely strapped to harnesses and watched by the ropes staff. the best part is the zip line, it goes so fast and takes you right over the trees and a meadow. just be careful to keep your harness tightly fastened.[/justify]

[justify]go karts is easily the dirtiest, loudest, and most dangerous activity at camp sidney. if you're planning on going to this activity, make sure you wear some clothes that you don't care will get dirty. if it's high and dry, then your clothes will get covered in dirt. if it's been a bit rainy, then do expect to be covered in mud. it's a dirty activity for those who want to get down and dirty.[/justify]

[justify]the computer lab, for those who are less inclined to be out in the sunshine. there are certain sites blocked, so don't even try doing anything illegal. but the access is pretty unlimited other than certain forbidden sites. just a few rules, if a computer is broken, tell someone. don't leave it there like it'll fix by magic. also notify someone has a virus. basically, if anything is wrong with the computer, notify someone.[/justify]

[justify]the photography lab, another science area of camp. in here students can develop photos from a picture scavenger hunt or they can be on the camp yearbook staff and be responsible for choosing what pictures to put in. if you don't know how to work the equipment, make sure you ask for help.[/justify]

[justify]tired of all the sunshine? tired of hearing the screams of the other campers while they have fun? Well the library is a quiet place where you can just sit down, relax, and try to find a good book. the library isn't that large, just a large room with wall shelves and tables everywhere. if you take a book out you must bring it back.[/justify]

[justify]this is mainly a girl's class. you can learn how to cook, sew, and even wash clothes. it's not a very popular class, but hey, you get to eat whatever you make in the kitchen section. besides, it's a fun place to go so that you're not inside and you don't have to laze around. you do stuff, in the air conditioning.[/justify]

[justify]the camp fires of camp sidney are close to legendary. they're a good place to meet other campers, meet the staff, and eat some delicious s'mores. be sure to wear your bug spray, the light of the fire will draw the mosquitoes to you like moths to a flame. no pun intended.[/justify]

[justify]many people wonder about the future, worry if their plans are going to turn out right, if they're going to have the family they wanted, or if their going to marry they're high school sweetheart. thread out your character's future here, let us know if they'll be okay or end up in a crack house. we hope they have a happy future.[/justify]

[justify]look back at your past, remember your old friendships, former flames, back to a time when everything seemed like it would be okay, as long as you were back in the house before the street lights came on. remember your first year at camp? how everything seemed so strange, yet so exciting? remember back to the time when the world didn't seem quite so bleak.[/justify]
